Miserden Church of England Primary School aims to serve its community by providing education of the highest quality for all pupils. Our core Christian Values are at the heart of all we do. Christian values are inherently rooted in the person and teaching of Jesus Christ and his invitation to experience life in all its fullness. A clearly understood and “lived out” set of values has proven to contribute strongly to the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of children.
We seek to help each pupil reach their full potential, respecting difference and offering equality of opportunity free from discrimination on grounds of race, sex, faith, class or disability.
Our aim is to give all our pupils a firm foundation from which they can grow into responsible members of society, able to approach life’s opportunities with independence and confidence whilst showing care for others.
Our Christian Values
We follow a 2 year rolling programme where we explore each value in depth. We focus on a new value each term (approximately every 6 weeks). We also make time to explore the different Christian Festivals over the year making links with our Christian Value of the term.
Our Value of the term
This term we are focussing on the value of Perseverance.
