Miserden Primary School recently took part in the Umbrella Project. We received a parcel of 25 brightly coloured umbrellas to create our very own suspended umbrella display!
The Umbrella Project celebrates the abilities, talent and achievements of every human being, including every neurodiverse individual, empowering and enabling the next generation of children and young people. Over 1000 schools across the UK and partner schools across the world were invited to have their own Umbrella Project. Miserden Primary School has joined the list of participating schools around the world which include the USA, Australia, Africa, India, Malta and Greece.
Through our colourful umbrella art display, we aim to raise awareness and understanding on neurodiversity, whilst celebrating the many strengths that come from thinking differently.
