Our Latest Fund raising School Event!
On Friday 17th October everyone joined together to support an important fundraising event: The National Brain Appeal. This whole school event was led by Ruby Knowles in Year 3 for a cause which is very close to our hearts at the moment. We all had lots of fun by coming to school in our PJs for the day as well as raising £128.35 for this worthwhile charity. In addition Ruby raised £230.00 from family and friends to add to the school total which is fantastic!
The National is one of the world’s leading centres for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with a wide range of neurological disorders and neuromuscular conditions including multiple sclerosis symptoms (MS), brain cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, Prion disease, and head injury. Please help us to improve their outcomes.
Don’t forget the community cake sale being held this Friday 24th October 2024 from 10.30 am in the school hall when we will be raising funds for the Cancer Research Charity. This will follow our Harvest Festival Service in St Andrew’s Church to commence at 9.30 am – all welcome!
