Today it was the mindfulness walk where we did exercises to start the day! Next we put our waterproofs on and went outside to start picking leaves for our box! We went through the forest school area and through the car parks and then through the gates. We saw sheep, loads of pheasants and loads more.
My favourite part of the day was where we stopped and had a look at the different coloured trees, bushes and leaves falling off the trees. I felt the raindrops splashing on my face and the warmth up to my face. I loved putting the pepper mint oil on our hands because it smelled so unique and nice! I adored being outside and smelling the fresh air. We had a walk back, went in a circle and then went back crossing the road, remembering the 3 words (stop, look, listen). We stomped back to clean our shoes but mine didn’t work. I think mine just got worse. Going in we took our waterproofs off, including our welly boots. We rubbed them on the mat first. We went inside and did some more exercises for our health. We did one that was when we put our hands together, lifted them up and then all you have to do is repeat (it’s so fun). I loved using the headphones because you listen to them music and it’s so loud when Mark (teacher) speaks into them. I loved doing the mindfulness walk because it’s so peaceful and so nice to look at the view! I would love to do the mindfulness walk again please!
