Our children, enjoying Gladiator school...
Our trainee gladiators made their own sashes and swords.
Lanista Priestley (a 'Lanista' is someone who purchases and looks after gladiators) then trained them in many exercises over several weeks to build their strength, endurance and skills.
When they were ready, they battled in the amphitheatre in front of a rowdy audience! Those who fought bravely were presented with their swords and gained their freedom!
