Class 1 have had 4 caterpillars which they watched grow into butterflies.

Here are accounts from a variety of diaries...

Our caterpillars have black wriggly bodies with spots. They are excellent climbers and they climb on the lid. They are tiny.

The caterpillars are tuning into chrysalises. The caterpillars are nearly turning into butterflies. The caterpillars were wriggling.

The butterflies are beautiful. The butterflies are black. The butterflies are orange.

We released the butterflies out to the wild so they could lay lots of eggs. I was very happy to release them.
