New Playing Field

We would like to say a very big THANK YOU to Miserden Estates for giving us a new field. We are very lucky children as the new field is right next to the school so we can use it at lunchtimes and break times when it is dry.

Over the past few weeks our youngest pupils have enjoyed watching tractors and diggers preparing and levelling our new sports field. Our pupils can’t wait until the spring when they will have lots of space to run around, play football and do PE. Looking forward to Sports Day next summer.

Fairtrade
Children learnt about the history of chocolate, its origins (where it came from), who discovered it and what raw cocoa nibs taste like. This led us to examine fair-trade and the children learnt about its importance in ensuring that farmers received a fairer return for their hard work.
