Welcome to the homepage of
Miserden C of E Primary School
We are a small, highly regarded and successful school in Gloucestershire built on strong Christian values and excellent relationships between adults and children.
We pride ourselves in offering a first class, all round education. We have high but realistic expectations of each child, recognising each individual's strengths and weaknesses. We value parents, children and staff working together in order for each child to reach their potential. We are a small, friendly school with a strong family feel.
The school is located in the village but with wonderful views of fields and trees.
What is Miserden School like? I know I could write pages about the wonderful children, staff and parents but I thought you might like to know what the children think.
“If you are stuck the teachers always go through it with you so that you understand it.” – Freya
“I like the teachers” - Emilie S and Freda
“We had a walk and a little play because it was Autmn. It was good fun. We wrote stories about a wizard and a dragon.” - Obee
“I am looking forward to going to Copsegrove. School trips are great.” - Maddie
I hope this gives you a flavour of our wonderful school. Please feel free to come and see us in action. I know our children will make you very welcome.
Admissions
Section 89 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (the 1998 Act) requires every admission authority to determine, before the beginning of the school year, the admission arrangements that are to apply for that year, in accordance with the timetable set out in the School Admission Code 2014 (SAC). Although we have not made any changes to our Admissions Policy in recent years, and do not plan any changes in the foreseeable future. A copy of our admissions policy can be found here.
